my droid incredible

os | rooted android 2.2
homescreens | one
clock | minimalistic text
-opens clock on tap
weather | minimalistic text
-opens beautiful widgets forecast screen on tap
battery status | minimalistic text
launcher pro plus | two docks, the other one is accessed by scrolling left or right
-metro icons, edited by me
-some icons open their own app group popup on tap using folder organizer
-notification bar can be shown/hidden by swiping up on the app drawer icon (up arrow in the middle)
wallpaper | image from ffffound
fonts | helvetica lt, helvetica lt bold
-font changed with typefresh

i'll probably stick with this setup for a while...rooting and being able to change the system font does a world of difference aesthetically. if anyone has any further questions, please ask.

hey mate... I've got my rooted, and using a custom ROM that still uses HTC sense...
I'm thinking of trying some alternate launchers like launcher Pro Plus, does affect your overall experience much.

also can I change the fonts using HTC sense or will I need to switch over to another launcher or ROM for it to work?

launcher pro plus is a must-install for me, on any rom...it has so many capabilities and can basically change as little or as much about the overall experience as you want.

you can change the system fonts on any rooted device using typefresh [link] or by just flashing different fonts renamed as droidsans, droidsansbold, and clockopia (essentially the system fonts) [link] ...i used typefresh myself and it was really wasy, just look through the thread if you have any issues.

thanks mate... I've got launcher pro plus working sweet.

I'm in love with it... especially being able to use so many features together with Folder Organizer... I can have a stack on the dock for internet programs but swiping it opens up my browser straight up, or swiping the phone button brings up favorite contacts. I'm sure you've already got yours tweaked out to the max =) Any more tips I'd love it!

typefresh is what I need! Thanks for that!!

looks good so far...i'd actually go with no background on your clock/switcher widget/etc tho. oh, and a good way to find more/different icons is to search for iphone themes. if i think of any other tips, i'll throw them your way.

no black boxes you mean right? yeh the wallpaper would have to be darkened or the colors of the font changed... but that is a possibility.

oh good tip with the icons...
are there any other apps or widgets you recommend for extra functions & usability?

you should get the xda forums app, i browse there under the screeshot thread for inspiration sometimes [link] [link]

i'm not really using anything else atm that would add to your setup per se, but i might recommend desktop visualizer...there's definitely a ton of possibilities with that app.

thanks mate got the app but hadn't seen the second thread.

Thanks for that. I've heard about desktop visualizer I might give it a miss for the moment. I don't want to load up too many apps on my little HTC Aria.

Right now I'm attempting to package my first skin... minimal skin for Audio Manager that fits my current setup. The first foray that I've done into any programming programs such as eclipse
